Heat pump recommendations?

Fori is not pleasedMay 10, 2011

We're looking to heat my "new" old pool. The local pool companies that quoted us for replastering were pretty unfamiliar with heat pumps--one guy said they just don't work in our dry climate. Anyway since nobody local seems to know anything about 'em, we don't have recommendations or suppliers and figured we could install one ourselves.

Can we install one with basic DIY skills (and an electrician)?

Any model recommendations for what is estimated to be a 18000 gallon pool? Thanks!

Thanks PC. Doesn't look too bad....we've already got an estimate from an electrician so that shock is over. :)

Two I see missing but are worthy are Aqua Comfort's and Pentair UltraTemp offerings.
