Sealing of Concrete: Should that come standard?

elliots11July 23, 2013

I just had a concrete patio done, and it's about to be a month since it was laid down. I'm unclear on whether or not it is going to be sealed, I had assumed it would be. I know staining is not included, but shouldn't it be expected sealing come standard? Or does it vary by contractor?

I'm asking this here because it's about to come up. It's not in the contract, so should I assume it's not included?

If it's not in the contract it's not included. That's why we have contracts, so all parties know what's happening.
