Paver Pattern

jeffandhollieJune 15, 2013

I am going to be installing a travertine patio in my back yard and curious about the starting point since I am using a pattern.

The area is 20 x 9 and will be in a versaille pattern. Once I have the border installed, should I start the pattern in the center of the rectangular area or simply start at one corner and spread out. Guess I am just thinking that starting in the center would keep the pattern at the edges uniform. However, I tend to overthink a lot of things so maybe I am doing that here as well.

Thank you as always for anyone's feedback!

Start in the center.

I agree; start in the center. Here is the patio I am building. It has bull-nose pavers on all edges and rock of different shapes in the center.
