I am trying again with the quilt I posted earlier.
This is the back.
I do not know what I did differently. Ugg
Why 'ugg"? I think it's adorable!
Sally, that is adorable!!!!!!!!
I love the colors, what size does it finish at??????.
Solstice, the ugg was about my being unable to post the picture. I love the little quilt. There was a previous post and I was in my own little world! :)
Rosa, Thanks for the good words. I did not measure it but I'd say it is over 45 inches either way- a little wider than tall. DGD is 8 years old; when she wrapped herself in it, it was dragging the floor. I looked at the pattern but it doesn't give a finished size.
Now that I've made it once I would not mind making it again. They suggested the regular fabric/batting/fabric construction but I found I like using fleece as a backing and no batting is needed.
Sally I agree about the fleece.
I love rag quilts, but the seams make them heavy enough without adding batting and the fleece is so soft.
Especially for a youngster.
I Love that, Sally.
They are a lot of fun to make and the kids Love them.
