Cathedral Quilt

paintgirl2008January 15, 2009

I don't usually post on this forum, tole painting and crafts mostly.

I have really enjoyed browsing thru the beautiful quilts on this site. I would like to show this beautiful Cathedral Quilt made by my SIL,an avid is Completely hand made from cutting to finishing and took many hours to complete. She is facing very serious heart surgery-she does not have a computer, but she will enjoy knowing others are seeing her beautiful quilt.

I have a quilt my Mother made for me many years ago it is worn and faded now, but remains my most cherished treasure.

Blessings on all you wonderful quilters!!!

that is just beautiful. I know a lot of work went into it. I have almost finished a King size CW quilt that I have been working on for about 18 months. All hand sewn also. Doing the triangles on the sides now, 2 more sides to go and it will be finished. Tell her she did a great job.

It is gorgeous. One of my aunts once made a CW, and I saw how much work and time went into it. And the pillows to match! Congratulations to your SIL. Somebody should get her a computer or do something else so we can see more of her work.
