Do I need to reseal cedar deck after cleaning?

jennyvMay 7, 2009

We have a one-year-old clear cedar deck that has mildew all over it. I was going to try using an oxygenated bleach solution to clean it. Does it need to be resealed after cleaning, or can I wait until next year to have it done (stain from last summer has held up well, though faded)? Thanks for any advice! -- Jenny
