Cost to replace bathroom and kitchen faucets

koalabearDecember 3, 2012

Hi everyone,

I m getting a new house which is currently under construction.
Unfortunately the standard & the upgrade faucets provided by the builder are too simple and too expensive.
I was wondering if could take everything base or standard and then replace all the faucets in the house by fancy faucets as per my choice by hiring a plumber after we move in.
Would anyone know the average cost to do this and also is it safe and feasible???

Please help!
Thanks :)

Sure, you can do it.

Cost depends on where you're located, etc., and whether they are narrow-spread (one-piece) or wide-spread (separate handles and spout). Don't forget they come with a matching drain so that usually gets changed out, too (but doesn't have to be). Rough number: $100-200 each.
