Screening under Azec porch floor (tongue and groove) - overkill?

dorry2February 7, 2013

We decided to go with the Azec porch floor as opposed to the Azec decking for our screened porch. We like the look better and are concerned about the numerous gnats and bugs in this humid, hot, coastal resort town, sneaking through the floor. Even with screening, we were concerned we would not be able to sit out most evenings in the summer because of the bugs and insects. Is it overkill to do the screen underneath an Azec porch floor since it is t&g?

We don't want to do this twice and are hoping this screened porch will last many years and get much use during our summers there.

Thanks to all!!
