Where is my salt going?

turku99March 6, 2014

I have had a salt water pool for 5 years. I established the salt ppm of 3200 at the beginning by adding 12 bags of salt. Each year I have to add approximately 6 bags of salt. I have read the posts about rain diluting the salt concentration and also about splash out. It has not rain much where I live nor do I have splash out.

So my question is where is the salt going?

Are you adding a lot of water ? Do you have a auto fill on your pool?
