what are you cleaning your waterloxed surfaces with?

lawjediMarch 1, 2013

The website mentioned using a vinegar/solution.... I made up one and added a bit of lemon essential oil (quart water, tablespoon vinegar, a few drops oil)...

I'm not really liking it - it doesn't dry well - I have to dry my table if I don't want water drops left behind.

They say NOT to use bleach/ammonia mixtures (ie lysol, windex, fantastic, 409).

So, what are you using? do you like how it works?

I'm hoping to use the same cleaner for both my kitchen table (waterlox) and my counters (laminate).

Thanks!

We use a 50-50 vinegar/water mix in a spray bottle, which seems to dry decently--we mainly spray, wipe down, and then leave it, though, so I haven't paid a huge amount of attention to exactly how long it takes to dry. We use this mix for just about everything in our house.

I have been using warm water with a bit of dish detergent.

A damp cloth.

Right now it's just the wet bar area and the worst I have to clean up are a few coffee spills and maybe wine.

White vinegar on a damp sponge. Buff dry with a linen cloth or microfiber. My kitchen floor is w-lox, BTW
