short kitchen sink drain assembly

GWloloMarch 15, 2013

Does anyone know if there is a kitchen sink drain assembly that is standard 3.5in width but shorter height. Most of the one I have seen are around 4in in height as well! I don't have a disposal on this sink and would like a shorter setup there so I can squeeze some storage in.

The tailpieces are usually slip joints. Like Hollysprings suggested, a hacksaw will make them shorter and snug the assembly up closer to the sink.
