Travertine look alike porcelain , classic style or a trend?

SarinaMarch 3, 2013

I will post it on flooring forum too but they might be slower with answer. Real travertine is a high variation look as is the porcelain counterparts. So is it classic or a trend what say you?

I think it depends on the market in your area. I'm in the Southwest where Travertine has been popular for a long time and I think will continue to be in style for a long time. It's a very classic look here in my neck of the woods.

Go with what you like. Unless you are planning on selling in the very very near future I would choose items based on what you like and will like for a long time. If you like travertine and are confident you will like it until you are ready to re-do your kitchen then I would go with travertine (or a lookalike).
