Sink Faucets

qwertyfreakJune 21, 2010

We're remodeling a master bath and I really like those sink faucets with the cross bars (Grohe Geneva) over those with the single levers that swivel. My husband thinks the crossbars are going to be a real pain to turn on and off/ to mix hot and cold water, etc. Anyone have any experience with these? Should I sacrifice good looks for practicality?

Only opinion I can offer would be this: The faucets you are considering will be, like the kitchen-sink faucet, things that you will use every single day of your lives. Whatever the depth/length of your consideration of them is time well-spent. You'll be living with them for a loooong time.

My personal opinion is that practicality rules. Beauty doesn't last long when confronted with daily inconvenience.
