faucet unfiltered cold with instant hot water dispenser?

nbakkerApril 21, 2013

We have a small prep sink and not enough space for two faucets, which makes me wonder if there is any way to combine normal (unfiltered) and instant hot (e.g. instahot) into a single faucet. These would seem to be a great combination, however not been able to find any faucets or ways to implement this other than going fully filtered with a vented faucet (we really don't need filtered cold). Thanks!

The hot/cold drinking water faucets, while designed to connect easily to a filter system, don't required that a filter be installed in order to use them.

What you won't find is a drinking water faucet that gives you a high flow rate of hot and cold water.

I am researching this topic myself. I realize this is months after your question. But insinkerator instant hot has a faucet with instant hot and cold, and it can be filtered or not. There are 2 handles on 1 faucet. My plumber recommended this brand. I have no financial ties or personal experience with the unit.
