replacing electric water heater?

I've got an existing electic water heater that I need to replace. I was going to go with the 50-gallon electric whirlpool from lowes that gets lots of favorable reviews. but of course they want like $450 to install it.. my existing one already has the threaded connector hoses. Is this just a matter of a simple disconnect and a reconnect? any tips for a newbie?

Check the heights to see that the new one will fit.

Check and understand how to install a new pressure relief valve. Basically, is the new one in the same place as the old one and can it use the same drain path.
