Plumbing Shower Question

kberrie1March 1, 2013

This is the plumbing in our shower (missing in the pic is the pipe above for the showerhead).

What do I have here, a one handle or two handle system. I told the plumber I wanted a hand shower and he's told me to buy the fixture and I'm not quite sure what to buy!

This is what it looks like to me:
- White pipe is the connection for the hand shower
- Black cover is the valve to turn the water on hot/cold.
- The valve covered with the baggie is the diverter. This lets you select the hand shower or the shower head.

You can buy two handle shower system. It is quite comfortable than one handle system.
