White Tail Deer Doe with Twins

lazypupOctober 20, 2009

There is a small herd of 23 White Tail deer that frequent our area. This doe first appeared with twin fawns last April. At the time this photo was taken the babies are now 7 months old.

Photo shot at 250 yards with a Pentax ist* body and a Sigma 70-300mm manual focus lens.

Aren't they sweet! Let's hope they all survive hunting season (not my favorite time of year).
