St Louis Basilica & Arch

My wife and I took the Mississippi Queen Steamboat from Memphis to St. Louis. Scenery abounds along each bend along the river.I was using my Nikon D100, a faithfull companion anywhere. The Arch was our destination that day however the old Basilica framed by it presented a unique opportunity to combine the old with the new.

Very nice.

Back in the sixties my older brothers had me plenty worried we were going to have to go over that "bridge" as we approached during a car trip.
