Professional printing questions

alisandeSeptember 11, 2008

Is anyone using a good professional print service?

I need to get prices on high quality prints from 70+-year-old negatives. Most of them are 2.5 x 3.5", with some larger and some smaller (square). I'm scanning them and working on them in Photoshop, and will eventually frame them. I have questions:

Can you direct me to some good print services?

What sort of prints should I ask for?

Any related advice you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks very much for your help!

Susan

Susan, I am not sure if any of my suggestions might be able to help but I have used dalelabs.com and mpix.com.

Great quality from both. If you are doing just prints then I might suggest mpix over dale.
