Teddy Bear Sunflower
Gorgeous! I love the marigold especially.
Those tiny beads of water really add sparkle. I love flower close up, yours are really nice.
Beautiful! You might call them simple, but all are worthy of framing!
Well, anyone who remembers my pictures much knows I love flower macros! ;)
Your's are GREAT.
Thanks for sharing.
These are beautiful pictures!
Did you planted your Teddy Bear late in the season?
I know, they take a bit longer than regular sunflowers,
last year I had some.
Thank you all so much for your comments...I really enjoy them...
Konrad--I was still planting to mid June not sure if it was one of them during the last few plantings...They filled out a few weeks ago and are now in the 'brown' stage...Yours look huge, how tall did yours get?
I've never heard of Teddy Bear sunflowers, but they're wonderful!
Not sure if yours is Teddy Bear, they flower into a ball like flower.
They don't grow very tall, I would say about 3 to 4 feet.
Konrad, that is a fabulous sunflower. I need to try a few of those next season.
Yep, definitely teddy bear, but mine only got about 2ft and not as big of heads...thinking it must of been one of the later plantings. I think they're really a handsome sunflower....
