Lake Chicot near Lake Village, AR.
Oh WOW, this is like asking RC if he has any sunset pictures. Each year my kids and I go backpacking for a week in the Bighorns of Wyoming.
Here's a few from last month.
It did not take long to see some nice photos with this theme. Thanks.
Good choice, Carol!
From the deck of my daughter's new house on a lake:
Same place, another day:
Great topic, carol-in-california. I'm excited to see everyone's photos.
This one falls under the "etc" category.

This is from Stein, town on the Rhein river, Switzerland, nice medieval old restored town square, a very popular place for visitors.
This is the Rhein fall, in a different place.
The Delaware River in early fall, another year:
Same scene, zoomed (and hand-held, obviously): :-)
This person is so fond of water he nearly parked his car in the Ohio River.
These are so wonderful...I just love this forum. Crunchpa...that had to be a hair raising parking job! :)
Ron, LOVE your second pic.
The light play in yours is wonderful Solstice.
The waterfall is amazing Konrad (and thanks for the others too), your daughter is obviously as brave as she is beautiful.
Great macro Pam. I've tried to capture of few of those, some luck, but nothing as pretty as yours.
And for all the nature scenes, you guys know I love those.
Lastly, Crunchpa, I'm just glad I wasn't the valet that had to go get that car!
These are all just wonderful!
A little bit about that picture. It was taken very early on a cool morning. A snow fed stream feeds the lake from the right. The mist was rising off the lake just in a narrow strip where the coldest water was entering the lake. 10 minutes later the air had warmed enough that the mist was gone. One of those rare times when I happened to be in the right place at the right time AND with a camera.
Here's a few more from a previous trip.
Lower Crater Lake
Lunch with a view.
I just had to go back and look at all the photos again.
carol in california...the depth of color in your lake photo is wonderful. It's so vibrant. It draws me right in. Your ocean wave is mesmerizing.
ronf, I just wanted to say how beautiful are your landscape pictures. It must be breathtaking to be there in person.
alisande, wouldn't it be wonderful to live on a lake! I love your sunset (or sunrise?)
bigack....beautiful! We don't have as much fall color as further north, but I sure enjoy seeing it in others' photos.
solstice, your photo makes me smile...it's so sparkly and you've captured it.
konrad, your photos are always stunning.
Lake trout spawning in a creek near Lake Tahoe, CA.
Well, we don't have a lot of expanses of beautiful waters around here. So we kind of have to catch as catch can.
Here are some I have caught:

Yes, welcome Lukkiirish! Do we call you Lukk, or Irish? Or something else?
Temps are in the 90s today, so to cool off I thought I'd sneak in a creek:
Hi! Thanks! Lukki works for me! These pictures are fabulous!
gor-gor, take what pam said and add my name.
All the photos this week are fantastic.
