Hi all! I haven't been to this forum in quite some time but knew just where to come with my question. (I used to post as Solstice98.)
I'm very excited to be taking a trip next February to Fairbanks Alaska, hopefully to catch a couple good nights of aurora watching. The photography I've seen this year has been spectacular but I don't know much about taking photos in the cold, in the dark, etc. I've read a bit about it, but can anyone here offer advice about capturing some nice northern lights images?
