URGENT - Chief Architect help needed

eleenaFebruary 14, 2013

I am meeting a kitchen designer tomorrow about the cabinets and I am trying to get (at least) a draft version of the kitchen plan done tonight.

I have some version of the floor plan with all the cabinets.
How do I get the software to show me the room elevation?

I have a Home Designer Suite 2014.

I searched its Help and it says "Select the Elevation tool". The symbol for it looks like a house. The symbol that looks like a house on the Menu bar gives me only the following options: "Build roof", "Skylight", "Dormer", and "Delete roof".

I'd really appreciate any tips. I am normally not this dumb, LOL, but it is late and I am in a hurry.

TIA!

ETA: OK, I see that they mean "terrain elevation", not the room view. And I need the latter. Thanks for understanding! :-)

I think you need to choose the symbol for camera and THEN the symbol for elevation.

Yes, you are right.

Thank you!

I think I am finally "getting" this thing. :-)
