This is a good poem for cat lovers written in the late 1700's by Christopher Smart. It's a good one. For I Will Consider My Cat Jeoffry
i don't see a poem.
Yeah, I know, it doesn't even rime.
It's called free verse, and I read it. Exquisite. Thanks
When Christopher Smart wrote this he was in confinement for insanity. Reminds me of a old joke I always tell. ' I had a flat tire in front of the insane assylum in Norwalk. While changing the tire I accidently kicked the lug nuts down the sewer. A guy inside the fence walked up and asked what was the problem. I told him and explained that now I had no nuts to attach the spare. He said, "Take one lug nut off of each of the other tires and use them to attach your spare till you can get to a gas station. "Great idea," I said. "What are you doing in there?" He replied, "I'm in here because I'm crazy, not stupid."
I put a link below to the poem, so it's easier to get to.
Very interesting. I will share this with my cat Jazzpurr and see what he has to say about it.
I like the lug nut story.
