Salt Creek- Death Valley National Park

carol_in_californiaFebruary 15, 2007

This is Salt Creek and indeed, the water is very salty. The pupfish thrives here and is very rare but unfortunately they were not out yet....a little later in the spring is when they come out. It is amazing how the desert creatures adapt to the hostile environment.
