Stain over primer?

debnmikeNovember 4, 2011

I just primed a headboard. I figure to paint it brown. I would like to know if you can use a stain over the primer or am I stuck with painting. Thanks everyone. Deb

You can stain over primer by using Gel Stain. You'll need to brush on at least two thin coats.
