Too much glaze on furniture!

cherilswansonNovember 30, 2011

My dear hubby just refinished an old dining room set. I think he applied too much antiquing glaze to the creamy white base finish. It has a grayer cast than I really like. The glaze has dried, but has not been sealed. I tried wiping some off with a damp rag last night and saw where some was coming off. Is there something I can put on the damp rag to soften the glaze? Thanks!
