White Carrera marlbe/Cesarstone concrete

marioncohen1February 13, 2013

I need to decide on my counter tops and would love some help as I am in this by myself.. I am doing white cabinets and dark brown porcelin tile that looks like wood on the floors. I love Cerrera marble but scared to put it on the counters and near the range. I was thinking of putting it on the bar which is 44 inches long and 24 wide. Then on the permiter a grey maybe Ceaserstone Concrete. How do you think this would look? Thanks

Caesarstone has new products that have a look that is similar to marble. I have seen them in person and they look beautiful. I'll be using them in my house. Tami

I've considered the same combination; they really work well together. You might also try out a higher contrast combination, like Cambria Fieldstone or Greystone or Eurostone Kwork. .

The new colors are called Frosty Carrina and London Grey. The FC is a bit more white and the LG has a touch of cream. I would not blend them with real Carrara, after seeing the samples this weekend. The Creamy Marfil is perhaps the most realistic. The Piatra Grey is a nice mid tone gray and blends with real Carrara quite well.

Here's a thread on the new colors, which are just starting to appear in showrooms

For the quartz, also check out the Cambria Fieldstone & Greystone and the Euro Stone K Work.

Is your wood look tile a blackish brown? I've been looking for that color./ Would you mind sharing the manufacturer and the style you've chosen? Thanks!
