Seeking opinion for new exterior siding color

andrearjungOctober 29, 2011

We bought this house a few months ago. Our neighbors on each side are gray; one very dark like BM Kingsport Gray and one typical light gray color. So we need a color other than gray! We are thinking of either yellow (Philadelphia Cream) or a gray-green (Louisburg Green or Nantucket Gray). Either we will do white trim and black shutters. I am not sure about harmonizing with the grayish roof color and tan-pink brick color. Any color suggestions? So hard for me to visualize the end product; I tried the color visualizers on Sherwin Williams and BM but the colors looked completely different than how they look on the house.

Thanks for any help! Andrea

if you do yellow, I'd do black shutters and maybe a black door. I think the garage doors and other trim can stay white.

The Philadelphia Cream looks really yellow on my screen, but surely different in person.

I think the Nantucket grey would look nice with with maroon shutters.

One suggestion about the gable vent. It should match the house color since it's not an accent piece. Blend it away!
