Paint for a rusty steel utility shed

dwpcSeptember 7, 2010

I have a 6x10 Sears sheet metal shed that's about 25 years old and still very sound. But the original factory paint has broken down and the outside has become a rusty mess. Light surface rust is bleeding thru the paint all over. If I can just knock the rust down with an abrasive pad and spray with a heavy coat or two of Rustoleum, I'll do it. But if I have to sand all that to bare metal and prime it, fuggetaboutit. I'll just buy a new one. So, what do you think? I've never used Rustoleum.
