Girls Bedroom Redo

llmhoganSeptember 24, 2012

We are in the middle of redoing my oldest daughters room and have the bedding (pottery barn Chloe Floral in Blue) but we are struggling to agree on a paint color for the walls. I don't usually lean toward blue colors but that is the primary color in the bedding. I want a color that she can grow with. Can anyone help with some ideas to make it a big girl room that will last many years? The attached picture doesn't show the colors very well so I have also added the link to the bedding.

Here is a link that might be useful: PBteen bedding

There's a lot to work with - several pretty blue wall colors would work.

The palest turquoise or a couple of shades lighter ... it's light and you can work with it all kinds of ways. Bring the purples in as accessories.

Or a very pale clear yellow, which matches nothing in the bedding, but is a good contrast and a flexible color.
