So far, so good, now what about the carpet?

sunsoleilAugust 11, 2013

I am off to a good start with painting 1980's stained trim white:) I sanded and cleaned really well (way more time spent prepping than painting), then two coats of Glidden Gripper, and one coat of BM Regal Classic. It looks lovely, now time will tell. Should I be doing one coat of primer and two coats of paint?
Next, I hope to move to the living room where there is carpeting. Any tips on how to paint baseboards over carpeting?

Yes you should do one coat of primer and 2 of paint. Post pics when done!
