Nanny Sharing

kns_montyAugust 9, 2007

Hello. A friend of mine in moving to Walnut Creek and has the opportunity to "share" a nanny with another family for her 6 month old daughter. She asked me for advice since I am a former nanny but I was never "shared" and don't have much to tell her. Does anyone out there have any experience with this, good or bad? Thanks so much for your advice!

If she means that her child and the other child would be in the same house and the nanny caring for them there, I think it's a fine idea. What do the other parents and the nanny say?
