Blending Eggshell/Satin and Flat HELP
I have a dining room and kitchen that share the same ceiling with no breaks, this then leads into the rest of the house with no breaks. All the ceilings have already been painted professionally in a slick finish (no texture) in flat white paint. I just finished doing the kitchen ceiling, removing the texture, and mudding to a near perfect flat finish. Now I need to prime and paint.
My question is, since I will not be using flat in the kitchen (Satin/Eggshell) how do I blend from one room to the other.
Should I just paint and hopefully it wont be noticeable or do I tape a line and make a perfect transition which will probably be noticeable? Am I over thinking this?
