Choosing the right black?

smp0808June 28, 2011

We are painting the exterior of our home. We have chosen SW Jersey Cream (pale yellow) for the main color, with Dover White as the trim. I want black shutters and a black door, but apparently choosing a black is not as easy as it sounds. Someone please suggest a shade of black that will look nice. Do I do a true black or do I go with something with yellow or green undertones?

Sherwin Williams - Tricorn Black would be a good option for you to check out. I love Jersey Cream - it's one of my favorite yellows interior or exterior. Great choice.
