How long do I need to let Sash Window dry?

pbx2_gwJune 21, 2013

Going to paint our Jeld Wen bathroom frosted sash windows this weekend.

Two questions really:
1) How long do I need to let the Sash Window dry - am afraid of it sticking?
2) How do I prop windows up to let them dry on both sides at the same time or I shouldn't do this?

It's hard to tell without seeing how the windows operate. I would let the paint dry for at least 6 hours before closing them and/or take them out if possible.

Thanks Paintguy, it's the lower part of a double hung & so no problems taking it out & putting it back.

Just worried of the 'Stickiness' that may occur if we rushed to reinstall :)
