Any books on shyness written for shy teenagers?

annkathrynSeptember 14, 2007

My older son, who is 16, is very shy. He has a couple of very good friends, but when he's part of a larger group of kids he tends to withdraw. I have the sense that he'd like to connect more, but just doesn't know how. Are there any good books that I could buy him that might give him some strategies for overcoming shyness? I did a search on amazon but didn't find anything that looked useful.

Thanks!

Ann

Thanks carla! The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens looks like a winner - I'm going to order it tonight.
