Best eggshell paint for glazed kitchen cabinets

lpalesMay 12, 2011

I'm going to be painting and glazing my kitchen cabinets. I've read so much about FPE but I was wondering if I need to invest in FPE when I'm going to apply a glaze and topcoat (polycrylic). I need to use an eggshell because the glaze slides off a semi-gloss which rules out ACE Cabinet Paint and Cabinet Coat because neither comes in an eggshell finish. Any suggestions for the best eggshell paint? BM Aura?? Thanks!

Are you REALLY dead-set on glazing?!

This can be very taste-specific, and MAY affect resale value.
I've never seen a glaze-job I like.

Not tryin' to be insulting, or a "Debbie-Downer", but these jobs seem to be waning some in popularity...
