Honest opinions needed

AdlineFebruary 20, 2013

I posted earlier about not being happy with my backsplash.
Someone is comming tomorrow to speak with me about removing it. I need to know if subway tiles would be a better choice in my space. I picked the 3" backsplash originally because it is a tiny u-shaped kitchen. So, before I make a bad decision, I need to know I tiles would be better given the size of the space. Thanks so much for your help.

There are so many tiles that would look beautiful in your kitchen. If it were me I'd love to add some subtle color. I think white subway tiles wouldn't really add much to the aesthetic of your white kitchen.

I would say you need something way snazzier than subways! :) Your kitchen is bright, but a little...safe? How about a pop of color? Or maybe some subways with a strip of accent tile in a great color? That said, I'm not one of those that "knows" all the tiles so I don't have a bunch of images to share...maybe someone else will have something!

I with the others. I would add something that brought color...even subtle color.

I think tile down to the counter would be a lot nicer/the U shape lends itself to a wonderful backsplash-have a search on houzz for colors/patterns that you like. Infinite choices out there, and it will give some punch-the kitchen is nice but quite plain. do you have under cab lighting?
