Help! Should I change out my stainless steel apron sink?
I purchased a 33" Kraus double bowl stainless steel sink based on good reviews and it was just installed 2 days ago. I love the look of it but am having serious second thoughts about maintenance. I'm just worried that the SS apron front will get scratched easily. We haven't even used it yet and I've already noticed a tiny ding at the top outside edge of the apron! (No idea how it got there.) The granite people are coming next week to template so I need to decide ASAP if I'm going to change it out for something else- fireclay or cast iron. (I know those come with their own set of challenges.) And I don't even know if it's possible at this point since our cabinet maker built the base cabinets around this sink. Those of you who have a SS apron sink- how is it holding up? Any regrets? (hobokenkitchen, firsthouse...if you're reading this, would love your input. i love both your kitchens!)
