Does anyone know of a math on line link that would assist me with teaching a 11 year old how to add and subtract fractions?

If you have an encyclopedia, it ought to be in there.

You might check the following site.

Also go to google.com and do a search for teaching fractions.

Good luck - I remember my dd had a hard time grasping this.
