A poem... which one do I use? Please look...
I found out that the family (re: previous post) is going to make this keepsake box for the little girl for years to come so she can have momentos to read when she's older. The following are 2 poems; one of which I have written, the other is from "unknown" which one do you think would be appropriate?
I know we couldn't say good-bye;
God had a plan, so please don't cry.
Just think about the time we had.
I know it's hard, but don't be sad.
I'm still here; you can talk to me.
You'll be mad at times & hard to see;
the reasons why God took me home.
I know you're frightened & feel alone.
As you gaze upon a starlit night,
or admire the splendor of peaceful sunset
remember I am here.

To the living I am gone
To the sorrowful I will never return
To the angry I was cheated
But to the happy I am at peace
And to the faithful, I have never left
I cannot be seen, but I can be heard
so as you stand upon a shore, gazing at a beautiful sea - remember me
As you look in awe at a mighty forest and its grand majesty
As you look upon a flower and admire its simplicity - remember me
Remember me in your heart, your thoughts, and your memories of the times we loved, the times we cried, the times we fought, the times we laughed
For if you always think of me, I will have never gone
