For insurance purposes?

No, I don't. I do however have a notebook that I stamp new stamps in and I can take it with me when I go shopping, to make sure I don't duplicate a stamp I already have. I never thought about having them insured though.

I read somewhere that it is a good idea to list them and the purchase(store) price since there is more in our collection of stamps than we sometimes realize. They may be worth more than some jewelry.
I have mine by Type, Company Desc and the store price

Are ya'll being serious? Why would you need to insure them? What am I missing?

They would already be covered in your homeowners policy but who would believe you if you mentioned how much they cost??
or how much it would cost to replace them
