You mentioned it in today's what's-for-dinner post.
I know he has a recipe book out but don't usually follow the talk show he's on.
This is the one we use, Pammyfay.
Michael Symon's Angel Hair with Olive Oil, Garlic and Chili
1 lb. angel hair pasta
1 Tbsp. chili flake (I use less)
4 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
5 cloves garlic, sliced
1 c. chopped fresh parsley
1/2 c. parmesan (freshly grated)
1 Tbsp. butter
1 c. reserved pasta water
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add salt. Add pasta and occasionally give it stir so it doesn't stick together.
While pasta is cooking, heat a 12" skillet over low heat. Add olive oil and garlic and let go over lowheat for 3 minutes until garlic is tender and aromatic. Add chili flakes. Add 1 c. of pasta water and turn heat up to medium and bring to a simmer. Add pasta and stir to coat noodles. Remove from heat and stir in parsley, parmesan and butter. Serves 4-5.
Pasta with garlic and hot pepper flakes is so quick and easy and tasty!!! When I make whole wheat pasta, this is the only way I like it.
Sometimes I cook a vegetable, like broccoli, and toss it in with the pasta, too. Really good with garlic Texas toast.
We like it as a meatless meal or a side. I go easy on the hot pepper flakes, though.
