Does anyonje use My Life Organized software?

I downloaded this, which is used by many people who are into the "Getting Things Done" method. It promises to allow you to outline projects in detail as well as adding just miscellaneous tasks, and then sort them by urgency (which yo have to specify) and then display it so you see what is most urgent first.

Well, I've outlined several projects but failed to generate an integrated "to-do" list. I really feel like I'm missing something obvious or being really stupid, and this forum is where I feel safest asking for help! From my reading of the documentation, it only displays in the to-do list tasks or projects for which all the sub-tasks have been completed! But what's the point of that? I don't need a list of things I've already done! It works for so many people that I am sure I am doing something wrong, but I don't know what. There is a Google group for users, but mainly they seem to suggest features they want to the developer, and I hate to admit to being so clueless there.

Does anyone here use it? Do you have any idea what I might be doing wrong?

I have not tried it, but I know for me, in the past any of those type of systems just don't work for my personality. I am an "artsy-fartsy, dance to my own drummer kind of a girl" and while I love making the lists (and checking them twice!) and I love romantically invisioning my chaos free life, in reality I am just not that methodical. For those that are more disciplined and love an "administrative approach" to life, this probably would be a great system.
