Where to find this vintage door?

benjohnsonOctober 19, 2010

I need to replace a vintage interior door - it is two top to bottom / side by side panels. When I search online for 'two panel' I only find two paneled doors with one over the other. Do you have ideas of what this type of door is called and where I might be able to find a match?

The narrow vertical panel style is from the Greek Revival period, 1830-1850's.

we have an architectural salvage store here in Kansas City. You could check for a similar store near you or email the store here and see if they can ship to you.

I have this website saved, for my "someday" pocket door project. They (say) they can custom make a door, and there are options that sound just like what you are looking for.

Check out Trustile Doors. They have a two side-by-side panel door that is available with various panel raises and sticking.
