Best pkace to buy OXO pop containers (X-post)

gwloloFebruary 26, 2013

I am looking to buy a lot of OXO pop containers. Any suggestions of where to buy or coupons to use to keep the cost down? I don't have a pantry and designed my drawers to hold these containers. They also work best for the other cook in the kitchen who is elderly and has a touch of arthritis.

I've found them at TJ Maxx and HomeGoods for reduced prices.

When I was buying about a year and a half ago, I couldn't find any discounts. I bought directly from Oxo for my set, but I've also bought from Amazon for gift sets. I had several broken ones from Oxo (poor packaging), but I sent them a photo and they were promptly replaced without having to send back the broken ones.

Warning: check every lid when you get them regardless of where they come from. Sometimes a lid won't seal - you can tell because even with the button pushed down you can lift the lid right off.

I 2nd the Home Goods, TJMaxx, Marshalls route. But my biggest savings came from a clearance shelf at Wegman's last year. Not sure why they were clearing them out...they still carry them, but who am I to complain about saving boatloads of moolah?

I 3rd Home Goods. I love them, but a warning, if you drop them- they will break. And in my case 5 pounds of locally milled whole wheat pastry flour along with it-GRRR

Marshalls has them too. But TJ Maxx/Marshalls/HomeGoods are all owned by the same parent company. I've always seen them at HomeGoods but it's hit or miss at the other two.

Bed Bath & Beyond also has them so if you have coupons, you might get a similar price as to what they are at HomeGoods. I've never priced them at BBB comparatively though so not sure which is a better deal.
