Exterior color for Old Garrison Colonial

mileleAugust 1, 2010

Hello forum, we always struggle with the color of our house. It si a Garrison Colonial: as far as house style is concerned...it does not have a lot of personality and might need also some facade spruce up

What should I do with the color? What about medium grey with black shutters?

Here the pictures of the house:

Yes, I think grey with black shutters would be nice, or a dark blue shutter. Some foundations plantings in front would give the house a lift. And a small tree in line with the right corner of the house (but far enough from it to be safe for the foundation) would add some life too. You have a nice house!

Thanks very much for your suggestions!! I like the idea of a hint of blue and black with the shutters!
