stash and dash
I had company over the weekend, so I spent Saturday cleaning, mostly moving piles around to look not so bad.Hence "stash and dash." Sunday my friend came over and we had a nice dinner, lots of chat. Today is Monday, I decided I must post my progress. But I can't post on Flylady or Squalor Survivors, so I'm posting here. I have mentally divided my house in three, since I have a split level with three floors. I will "Flylady" by doing one level a week. I started today in the bottom level. Did two loads of laundry. One is in the dryer now on high heat, the other waiting (it's delicate). I'm working on five boxes I moved into the lower level during the stash and dash. One I lugged out of a closet. I have no idea what's in it. I will purge that one box today, keep something only if it's really valuable, like the time I found my diamond and gold bracelet in a drawer,it had broken and I quickly put it there to prevent it from getting "lost" in the general clutter of my life and home. I forgot all about it and found it a just a few weeks ago. Took it to the jeweler and got it fixed, it's now safely in my jewelry box where it belongs. That's the kind of thing I call "valuable", nhot some ladies magazine I meant to clip a recipe from. I belonged to Flylady for a while, but the emails definitely overwhelmed me. So here I am on That Homesite.
