Installing decorative end panels

Whit461February 21, 2013

We are saving nearly $1,100 by agreeing to install the 4 decorative end panels on our cabinets ourselves. I am thinking it should be as easy as some construction adhesive and finish nails in the corners? Am I missing something?

My husband installed all of our cabinets at our old house. We had decorative panels on our island. I believe he just used an adhesive. But I can check with him to be sure. I dont think there were any nails involved.

I would think that they would be screwed on from the inside of the cabinet. $1,100 seems high to me to have them apply them unless the $1,100 includes integral end panels.
